Herbetina was only a few months old when her mom began working as a preschool teacher at St. Paul's Akramaman. Within a few months she became one of 10 children sponsored by our donors. I can remember when she was about 2 years old and wanted to sit on my lap and try to fit giant puzzle animals into slots in the wooden frame. Tina, as I call her, has been such a dear. Each year when Bruce and Becki, her sponsors, would bring her a gift, she would come back the next day with something for her Grandma and Grandpa.

In 2018 when Bruce came back to the states desperately ill and hospitalized, Millicent, Tina's mom, send the video above of Tina praying for Grandpa Bruce.

Tina attended Reading Camp in 2021 and was at the top of the class. When I saw her in March she told me she loves school. Thanks to you, Ghanaian Mothers' Hope has been able to train teacher and make learning fun for Tina and her classmates. She is just one of so many who's life has changed and has HOPE for a future.
