Help bring education and health care to children in Ghana
I'm asking for donations for my mission trip with Ghanaian Mothers Hope Inc. this Summer. I've chosen this nonprofit because of my admiration for their mission. I have helped with children in Uganda and Kenya and would like to learn from an organization that is well established.Every little bit will help me reach my goal.
Ghanaian Mothers' Hope, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 2005. GMHope builds pre-school and primary schools in rural villages of Ghana for public education. With a focus on girls education, GMHope provides teacher training, books for children, and health care education for mothers and children. Each summer GMHope supports three Reading Camps designed to train teachers to teach reading in English in a constructive setting. Mission teams travel to Ghana to help new villages start Reading Camps.
